Someone reported that thread earlier so I took a look at it. Most trolls or sock puppets eventually get on my radar at some point. But, that poster basically never caught my attention. Maybe the poster was a troll, but he/she wasn't a very trouble-causing troll (and I do know the gender, I'm just not saying). I also think that most posters will not recognize the username if the user reveals it. I don't think the poster was very prominent, though I don't frequent that forum much.
