or literotica? Do they help your libido?
If so, which are your favorites? |

I'm a 26 year old female. I'm not much for erotic novels but I absolutely love literotica. I read from there 3-4 times a week. I enjoy the group sex, mature, lesbian, and a couple others. My favorite stories are about gangbangs, rough sex, older man/younger woman, authority stories, and a lot of dirty talk stories.

I read all kinds of romance. I have some favorite authors in the erotic romance category. Olivia Cunning-Sinners On Tour series; Lauren Dane-Brown Siblings Series and the spinoff series (I can't remember the name of the series); and my all time favorite Lorelei James Rough Rider series (16 books and a couple of novellas) and Black Top Cowboy series. These are much better written with actual character development and a plot that isn't all sex all the time. These aren't destined to become "classics" but they are really entertaining. You have to be comfortable with threesomes, gay sex and some BDSM. (Nothing like 50 Shades, this stuff is actually sexy.) For the order of the books, look at the author's website. Personally, I would start with LJ's Rough Rider series but you really can't go wrong with any of them. One small note for Olivia Cunning, she wrote the Sinners in order but they were published out of order. The proper order of the series is on her website.
In the really hot romance category just a step below the "erotic" romance category Marie Force has several series Gansett Island; Treading Water, Green Mountain; Jaci Burton has the Play-by-Play series Julie James FBI/U.S. Attorney series. Julie James writes an excellent romantic story. She's won several awards for her books. I cannot recommend her highly enough. |
| No. I did when I was in high school. |
| No, they are just not very interesting to me and often not very well written, which only drives me more crazy. |
| To answer your libido question, yes they help me at least. I buy them on kindle and most other books I read are library paperbacks. So when my husband sees that I have the kindle he knows he's getting lucky. |

I haven't read her books yet but our very own "free range" parent who has been in the news lately is also an erotica/ romance writer. http://authorjoydaniels.com

I have not trouble with my libido |
|
No. |
| Poorly written crap. I did read Fifty Shades, which, while also poorly written crap, made me fee less alone regarding some of the things DH and I do. |
|
Yes. In fact, I can tell where my cycle is at by my selection of reading material. My favs are historical romance, think Pride and Prejudice but with lots of explicit sex.
Some of my favorite authors in no particular order: Scottie Barrett, Shirl Anders, Olivia Parker, Sophie Jordon, Sabrina York, Eve Silver, Courtney Milan, Elizabeth Hoyt, grace Burrowes, Madeline Hunter. Thank goodness for kindle app! |
| Yes. They are fun escapism. I also read "real" books, but just like I enjoy pizza some days, I enjoy these books many days. |
