Blinds for sliding door?

I have a sliding balcony door -- are vertical or horizontal blinds better?

I hate vertical blinds! They now make sliding panels that look kind of interesting.

Anything but vertical blinds. Have you been out to a. blinds store to ask about options?

What about drapes? You can wash them when they get dusty. Blinds are a pita to keep clean -- dust magnet.

Also, rollershades, they pretty much disappear when up and they make really cute ones now, not your grandmothers vinyl.

my parents got a new slider that has the blinds embedded in the window. Love it.
