When are the RD notices expected?
TIA. |
Don't get your hopes up....nearly 27,000 applied for RD..... |
March 31st like every other Ivy League school. |
I read somewhere that Ivy day is 27 March this year. It's the Friday before spring break for a lot of high school kids, so it makes sense in terms of how they've done in some past years.
|
3/27 is what I heard. |
SOMEBODY gets in. |
Yes! My kid could lucky or off to Michigan or UVA (OOS) he will go! |
Crazy to spend 60k for undergrad work. |
i might spend it for wharton. not for the other schools. wharton access to highly remunerative jobs out of UG is only equaled by hyps. In fact I would say it gets better recruiting than Yale. |
Spent it for Wharton undergrad myself and would do it again in a heartbeat. Didn't realize how much that degree meant to employers when I went there, but it's proven true time and time again in my career. |
Never met anyone from Penn who wasn't either a jerk, an HYP reject, or both. |
Yup. |
Yeah, right. |
My parents spent for the College of Arts & Sciences at Penn, and I'd do it for my kid if he had a prayer of getting in. To the PP who claims I must be either a jerk or an HYP reject: I don't know about the former, but I didn't apply to HYP. I applied to Penn on a whim and went there b/c I didn't get into my first choice (this was a hundred years ago, before 27k people were applying.) I never took a class at Wharton, but I owe a very successful career to the opportunity Penn gave me to get out of my small-town box. |
Your crystal ball is cracked so lighten up. |
