Any idea on how many of Mann's current 5th graders are leaving for private schools next year even though Mann is retaining its 6th grade?

how did Mann get to keep it's 6th grade? I thought all schools in Deal/Hardy district were moving to PK-5.

Fair enough. I don't have any idea how many, if any, Mann rising sixth graders are leaving, but the parents had to fight pretty hard to keep the sixth grade, so I'd be quite surprised if a high proportion didn't stay. (And even if this weren't a "special case" year, the vast majority of kids who are still there at fifth will stay for sixth.) There may be a couple of openings, though -- good luck.
