We want to install carpeting on our stairs. Just a simple beige or other solid neutral; something that feels nice to the feet but that will wear well and hopefully be stain resistant. Does anyone have a recommendation of where to go to buy the carpet and have it installed? Thanks! |
OP here. Sorry, when I say carpeting I mean more like a runner, not carpeting to cover every square inch of the stairs. You can see I'm new to this. ;-D |
Home Depot! They did an excellent job and have tons of options. |
Carpet Palace! They have a great selection of remnants and they do a great job. |
Bump. |
Seriously Home Depot. Have you looked there? |
We just bought the carpeting runner by the foot and the metal rungs and hardware and did it ourselves. Lowe's or home depot |
home depot, lowes, any carpet store. |
We had a great experience with Ayoub Carpet. They gave us samples to take home and try out in the space, then we chose a pattern, and they came and installed it. We paid $600 for one staircase with no turns. We chose a pattern because we thought it would hide stains and dirt better than a solid. |
We got our runner at Georgetown Carpet. They had a huge section of remnants, which made it much cheaper. |
I've also had good luck with Ayoub. |
