How bad is it that I want a LeSportsac purse?

I just saw them for the first time since high school and they look cute and practical. Is there anything retro-hip about them? Or will I look even older than my 40+ years?

Don't forget your Camp Beverly Hills sweatshirt!

They have a ton of things like Sportsacs out there now, so you can get a useful one without the logo. I didn't realize they still made them.

Just saw lesportsac purses at TJ Maxx...they make leather bags now. Also, saw same brand that more like Vera bradley/nylon with cute prints.

And no, you would not have to pair with your gold stretchy belt, designer jeans and a rainbow shirt with rainbow suspenders. Or, Bass brown leather flip flops, dolfin shorts and a long sleeved surf shirt.

Shout out to 1980! Oh...and ribbon, braided streamer barrettes, too! Did you used to feather your hair and then just pull one side back with a dreamer barrette?

Don't forget your member's only jacket. Actually I almost bought one a couple of years ago for travel. They are so light and have tons of pockets. I ended up returning it because I felt so self conscious with it...lol

Ugh, ignore the old hags on here and do what you want, OP. You're 40, you don't need anyone's validation of what's cool. Wear what you like with confidence and you'll probably start a new trend and the PPs will be running as fast as they can to buy one, too.

Yes - 7th grade with the streamer barrettes. Those could totally make a comeback.

I find them incredibly practical (lightweight, washable, relatively inexpensive) and think they're really fun.

About the fabric: the "vintage" sportsacs were made of ripstop nylon with this weird plastic backing.

The newer sportsacs are lined in nylon--so much better!
