| My guess is that there are not a lot of deadheads here but I thought I'd check. |
| Will Hologram Jerry be there? |
| I am trying. I did mail order, haven't heard either way. And I have spent hours on Ticketmaster. I got nothing! I will try to buy another way, but hear that tickets are already going for $900 on stubhub. I have a hotel in Chicago though. Who knows. |
My dh got tickets yesterday by phone since our internet was acting up (good old phone, who knew ). We have friends and family in Chicago so he'll stay with one of them. I guess so far that's 4 deadheads in the metro area?

I have tickets for the last two nights. I think it will be super festive but a strange scene - old heads and younger Phish fans. I hope it's mellow and happy.
There are more heads in the area. I would venture to say they don't hang out on DCUM. I like to inhabit both worlds. |
| my homie scored 2 tix for each night via mail order - GA Pit right up front I sent in too for 4 tix for all 3 nights but no word. HUGE deadhead here and really want to experience these shows, but the tix are selling for between $5k-10k and more each for each night. in theory he could sell them for between $30-$60k - and he could definitely use the $$. not sure what we're going to do.. |
Shit, makes me wish I had tried to get some to resell. That's an insane spread. |
| I know a lot of deadheads in the DC area. They are all going too. One of them actually dropped out of college to follow them in the mid ninties. She is still one with them and goes to shows regularly...which I know of because that's all that gets posted on Facebook. |
Those are great seats but they aren't really going to sell for that much and it kind of violates the spirit of the dead - now it's only rich hippies who get to attend? |
| We'll see what they command when he gets the physical tix. The question is are those tickets worth whatever they could sell for to us. If it was the difference of a few hundred bucks, then whatever. If we're talking thousands, that's another story. I understand and appreciate the spiriti of the event. The reality for my homie tho is that he has been dragged through a nasty custody dispute this past year and has a shoulder surgery coming up. We'd love to go to the show, but he could use a cash infusion. And I do think his tickets will command $2k each if not more. |
