Do you tip furniture delivery people?

Anonymous
If so, how much? I do, but sometimes I have to almost chase them to give it to them, which makes me think they're not expecting it.
Anonymous
Rule of thumb: if you will never see them again, do not tip. Fuck those guys!

It's added onto the delivery charge.

Depends on the item, but usually yes.

I give them Chuck E Cheese coupons and tell them to take their kids on me.
Anonymous
Usually $10 each.

Ok I was the sarcastic pp. yes you tip. About enough to get a decent lunch where you are. So somewhere from 10-20 each.
Anonymous
If I have to pay for delivery no.
Anonymous
Yeah I do. About $20-25 and I tell them to enjoy some lunch.
Anonymous
Yes. Always. Not a huge amount, but generally enough to buy the crew lunch someplace simple.

+1. $10-$20 each depending on the size and weight of the furniture and how much of a pain it was to get it in. If it went upstairs I would tip more.

Usually 10 or 20 a guy.
