I need a Lupron kit for my cycle! Anyone know pharmacies that have them in stock????? My nurse said she has called around to numerous pharmacies and everyone is out of stock because it's on back-order. HELP!

wth. that's crazy. What clinic are you using? Can't they get some for you? What about ordering from Freedom fertility?

I actually have some left over that I have no intention of using. I dont know if I can give it to your clinic to give to you or if that is illegal.

No, it's on backorder so NONE of the pharmacies have it to dispense. The doctor's offices don't carry/dispense medications. Illegal for you to do that.

How soon do you need it? Have you tried ivfmeds.com? They're in the UK so shipping is longer, but they may not have the same stock issues.

NP - also finding that several pharmacies have Lupron on back-ordered until approx March 9. Argh...need to start Lupron late next week. has anyone found a pharmacy with an available stash (not overseas)??

SGFC has its own pharmacy at its Rockville office. Check with them if you haven't already.

Start calling pharmacies. I had to do this a couple months ago for delestrogen. If Freedom Fertility is out, I had good luck with Strohecker's in Portland, Oregon (but you have to submit to insurance yourself) and Metro Drugs in NYC (but expensive shipping). You can also try Ambulatory Care in Rockville, Grubbs in Dupont Circle, and whatever Prospective Pharmacy is now called in Falls Church. Alexander Twins in NJ is another fertility pharmacy. Good luck!

Can they switch your trigger med? I'd ask your doctor to look into changing your protocol.

Sometimes, the other clinic locations have meds on hand (samples, patients donate left overs, or when they switched my trigger I gave them mine as a trade).

Maybe your nurse can ask around for you?

thanks, had already called a bunch of these pharmacies already by researching old posts on this forum about where folks buy injectibles. was hoping someone had a success story of finding Lupron in last few days.
Lupron not for a trigger shot...for the 14 day kit, suppression.

Now I need lupron! Has anyone had any luck since this was posted? Freedom Pharmacy is out, as is my insurance specialty pharmacy. I'll start calling around but just curious. Also, have any of you actually ordered meds from abroad before? I have about 12 days so maybe they'd come in time..

Also, what is the difference between the two week kit and lupron depot? What's used for what (in IVF)?
Anonymous
Lupron depot lasts a month for people with endometriosis. You want the 2 week kit for ivf.

Shouldn't your nurse do the legwork, not you? That's their job! They should call every fertility pharmacy they can for you!

I donated unused Menopur to my RE's office which they happily accepted.
