SSSAS Admission Notifications?

Anonymous
St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School notifications will go out March 1, which is a Sunday. Will they be sent out electronically or do we have to wait a couple of days for the letters to arrive in the mail? What is the process if you are accepted? Are there events for admitted families? How much time do you have to decide if you are going to accept? What happens if you get wait listed? We are applying to the lower school if that makes a difference. Thanks.

DC applied and was accepted a few years ago. I believe we received a video email on Monday. Good luck. If you are wait listed you will receive a letter on Monday or Tuesday. Good luck OP!

We received an email and video - which was great, and the letter followed. Yes, there are many events - both for newly admitted, and you are welcome to attend any school functions. The Spring musical is coming up next week I believe, and it's always fun. It was a pretty quick turn around, but we definitely had time to revisit school and ask any final questions. Good luck - hope to see you on campus next year!

I think letters are being mailed Friday (as in put in the mail late in the afternoon, so for all purposes think being circulated, not delivered, by the mail on Saturday, because the school isn't in session on Saturday so they mail it late late late on Friday) which probably means you would get a hard letter delivered on Monday. I heard this as second hand news so take that at face value. I know in the past that emails have gone out on the acceptance day, think if March 1 was a Monday, letters mailed Monday and then emails sent at close of business on Monday. But with March 1 being a Sunday, who knows??!!!! Good luck, hope your child gets accepted.

We got our email Saturday morning last year, and envelope the same day - but we are fairly close - 3 miles away.
