Where are older kids getting accepted?

We are waiting to hear about 6th grade from several top schools, but are out of town this weekend.

Also, what does waitlisted at these schools mean for older kids?

We'd be interested in this info as well. Does WL = rejection in the upper grades?

Our experience with 9th grade a couple years ago was that Maret waitlisted everyone who wasn't accepted and they had no movement off the list, GDS also seemed to have a very long waitlist but a few people seemed to get in off it. Sidwell's in theory should be more meaningful because they reject a lot of people but I still don't know anyone who's gotten in off the waitlist for older grades.
