What would you ask for if the salary is a little less than what you wanted

If you get an offer that is 5k to 10k less in cash than what you wanted, what other things would you ask? This job already has flex hours but no telecommute so no point asking for that. Any thing else you think would be helpful to make my life better?

I am not in a hurry to jump ship. Just passively looking for something new. So in theory I can wait for another job that gets me more cash but I like everything else about this job.

Why can't you ask for more money?

There's always more annual leave, higher 401K contributions

Also, what price point is the offer/what you're looking for? $5-10K means very different things to somebody looking at an offer for $75K versus $200K.
