| Can anyone recommend a daycare (in home's or traditional) or school that offers a program for toddlers 12 months and older? I'd prefer something in NW DC but can travel to Maryland. Thanks! |

This wont work for you because its too far out, but just wanted you to know there are places out there that do part time for toddlers.
Our 2yo has been going to Dee Dee's place in Silver Spring since she was 17 mos. She goes 3 days one week and 2 days the opposite week. So 10 days a month total. We pay for those exact amount of days. Good luck OP |

Hello,
If you're still looking for a part time spot for your child in a center in NW DC, I might have something available. I'm Laura Gallego the owner of Happy Feet Child Development Center and we have spot available for part time, if you would like to get more information you can contact me at at 202-297-4216. Thank you, Laura Gallego |
| Milestones in Silver Spring has AM and PM preschool classes in an in-home setting. $350/month! earlychildhoodmd.com |
| Check out Children in the Shoe in Bethesda. Really outstanding center, and they offer PT. Hard to get in, but not impossible. |

What sort of PT schedule are you looking for -- i.e. full days but only 2-3 times per week, or mornings only but 5 days a week, etc.? I ask because many preschools would fit the bill for mornings 5 days a week but not necessarily for full days fewer times per week.
Most preschools start at age 2 and are on a school schedule (i.e. 2 by Sept 1 or Oct 1), but some have rolling admissions. I'm guessing you're looking for a place for a younger child with the option to continue as he/she gets older, but it's an option to do preschool as your kid gets a little older to fill the place of PT daycare. I also have seen some preschools that do offer full-day care but only 2 or 3 days per week. |
