understanding ICPC

W have been told it might take two weeks or more for this process. Is that realistic or excessive? Can we stand that amount of time (and hotel costs) and just exactly what would happen if we came home before approval? Who would know?

Our ICPC took three days after we went to court. It was a Maryland to Virginia adoption. We used a friend's spare bedroom as our Maryland address.

our ICPC was quick to go through once we had all of our clearances come in. It was the waiting around for DC, CA, and VA criminal and CPS background checks that took the longest.
