Traveling around with buddies to see your girlfriend is something you do in college, not in your mid 30s. Very odd behavior, especially since the buddies are zesty bachelors.

You do it because Taylor is busy most of the time you are there so you are by yourself most of the time and even when with Taylor her crew is with her almost 24/7. There is a lot of downtime for Travis --- I guess he could just sit there and stare at the wall. He also has to work out every day. Better to work out with someone else and he needs help for some of what he does. The only odd thing is why more of his crew is nto with him.

You would never evr travel with buddies to see a girlfriend in college. That is nuts. What is not nuts is taking your buddy on a trip like this.

I think it's weird how they always bring friends to see each other. I don't think it means their relationship is fake. I just think it strikes me as insecure behavior.

I think Taylor is sort of perennially lonely and fundamentally insecure. When she got the AotY Grammy, she made a big deal about pulling Lana Del Rey on stage with her, and then even asked the people on stage with her to stand closer because she was "lonely." I think she feels isolated and likes to have her friends around to take the edge off that feeling. I think that's why she prefers to bring a gang with her when she goes places. I kind of get it, but I do think it reflects immaturity. It's a security blanket for her.

I don't know what his deal is, but it's interesting to me that he seems to do the same thing.

The both strike me as a bit emotionally immature and stunted. And I don't think that's inevitable for people leading these sorts of lives -- there are other super famous pop stars and athletes who seem more emotionally mature even at younger ages.

I see nothing wrong with them bringing friends to each other's things. A. You want to show off your girlfriend/boyfriend to your friends. B. These are obviously spectator events. Why not bring others to watch? C. Give me a break with wondering why he doesn't want to travel to Asia by himself and wants to hang out with friends while she's occupied. You may "travel to see your girlfriend in college" but you sure as crap aren't traveling to Singapore.

Everyone is comparing them both to normal people. They are not. Taylor now a billionaire and has hundreds of people she employes even when not on tour. She is around her people because they help protect her from the outside world and help her run a giant company. Travis made over 100 million over the last year. He employs about 30 people. He is also running a good size company. They company moves with him as it does with Taylor.

Does Bob Iger travel by himself? Warren Buffet probably does but does any other big CEO -- no. I know when Iger is on vacation he has about 10 people there with him -- secretaries, aides, and execs.

+1
No doubt she even encourages him to bring his friends so he’ll have people to keep busy with when she’s working (and vice-versa). Nothing at all unusual about that. Some posters seem to genuinely have a screw or two loose.

Lana del Rey and the rest of her girl squad aren’t employees

It's more fun to go to a concert with your friends. Plus he probably doesn't see Taylor most of the day she has a concert. What is he supposed to do, just sit around and twiddle his thumbs? Seems pretty understandable that bring along friends he can hang out with. I don't know what is strange about that. It's not like they are crashing in his hotel room.

Right… And it’s a super long plane ride, so might be fun to have some company. Also, if you are able to do special things and invite a friend, wouldn’t you? Not everybody gets to take a private plane to Australia, or do fun things in another country… Nice to bring a buddy to experience that as well even if he was not with Travis the entire time. I’m sure he had his own hotel room lol.

Part of traveling with friends is so important to Taylor. All her guys kept her like a secret. Having friends and getting hype for her is not landing like many of you think.

Love that they let Vogue get the exclusive that they attended a no phones exclusive after party together.

If I was Kelce's friend, I would not turn down an opportunity to fly private to Asia, get VIP treatment at her shows, and stay in massive hotel suite. All for free.

TS is likely extremely busy on tour - meeting with local press, sound checks, rehearsals, costuming, make up/hair, etc. Everyday. Lots of time alone for Kelce during show days, so it makes sense to bring a couple friends to hang out and do tourist stuff.

His friends are middle aged men, not teenage college kids. What middle aged men are still freeloading off their pals and hitching rides and hotels off a buddy's girlfriend? This is all very strange.
