He pretty much admitted that he wasn't golfing yesterday. He said he "met people" at the golf course. It does look like a big show to hide something : decline in health? medical treatment? Covid? we'll probably know at some point. No one close to Trump stays loyal forever - when your loyalty is based on fear, it dissolves pretty quickly.

Just adding the wh press pool literally stands on the golf course waiting hours for photos -on tennis courts or other places shouldering course,- and made the point that there were absolutely no sightings - only exiting motorcade to walk in to building then entering motorcade to leave.
