2025 Girls Commits

A ranking is only one consideration. Holy Cross is #66. ASU #76. Many things to consider.

You proved my point - there are many reasons why someone would chose a school!! Scholarship, love of the campus, program of study etc! Judging a girl or team just based on the college they decide on is idiotic.

The original rosters of the two Cap ‘25 teams weren’t good. Cap made changes to fix them and both teams are now looking great.

When did the move happen for the orange players up to blue? During tryouts or during the sophomore season?

Fix them? No. The girlls moved up and down were on the margins not change makers. The one new player
From outside the club also was not a change maker.

Bill and Bryan had their favorites and less favorites and moved girls accordingly. Not everyone agreed the moves were the right ones but politics play out on the field.

If there was a performance change between freshman year and sophomore year by the team it was because they started to gel as a team not due to the player changes. Same true for orange. Any new players were not strong additions.

Area experts, not parents, agree the original rosters were wrong. Sorry.

This doesn’t even make sense

And again. Isn’t the title of this thread about commitments?

Correct. Kudos to Capital for making the necessary changes and adding the right players to Blue . Five new players on Blue between 9th and 10th grade. No question they became a stronger unit!

I'm confused by the people who keep asking about a specific player. Meaning it has been 30 days in a process that can take a year. Maybe she is weighing different aspects of the school etc. I'm not sure that I would rush such an important decision if I was her. The girls that go fast are likely committing to one of their top choices so the decision is easy. If you are choosing between a handful of options it is not easy.

100% ! Leave the specific player out of it.

Folks, it's time to stop discussing players directly on this thread. Please take these conversations off an anonymous message board.

It is all because there are some people who have commented that they have the opinion that the other cap goalie who has committed already is the better player. Some people either can't handle that someone would dare to have a different opinion on who they think is the best player, or they are incapable of separating the play on the field from a person and want to take it as a personal assault on the girl which it's not.

99% plus of parents and others on this board have no idea to judge the better of two goalies of fairly even ability. Nor, do they know what any particular kid's situation is or program's. If you want to keep blathering, fine, but most of us do know that your opinions are worthless at best.
