The real Matty Healy

He’s always sexy when he performs that song. Probably something to do with the intense guitar strumming and lyrics like “Does he take care of you? Or could I easily fill his shoes?” (in the context of s&x)

Here i a stripped-down, acoustic version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQVLkJ78hOE
And a more recent performance at Lollapalooza, 🔥

Seeing Matty fangirling at James Taylor’s concert this week was fun and funny. It also brings to mind “You said you never met one girl who had as many James Taylor records as you, but I do”… Released in 2012. I would not be surprised if it came to light that MH & TS met and hooked up long before the general public found out about their infatuation with each other in 2014.

She must’ve swirled him into 1989 too, which would explain why he wore that 1989 tee proudly in public so many times, including at the Eras concerts in 2023. It’s his birth year too, and I suspect “his” secret album 🤯

2009-2012 meetup(s) also explains him writing The City & Robbers for her, and her nod to Robbers in Ready For It.

Nah I’m enjoying reading others’ posts and I have posted a few times myself from TikTok and YouTube.

I just saw a social media post made yesterday by Gabriette about Matty that had around 360,000 likes and thousands of comments. In 24 hours. So clearly there is more than one person who likes and follows him
