What do you keep in your car that makes your life better or easier?

Napkins in the console.
Hair clip to pull hair back if I get too hot.
Hand cream.
Hand sanitizer
Extra masks
Winter gloves
Bug repellent
One pair of old athletic shoes (in case of shoe emergency)

Genuinely curious, what are some of the situations you've used scissors in a car?

I have one of those window-breaker things. I guess if I see a dog in a hot car? Or as I pictured when I bought it, my car underwater and only one way out!

I also have one of those. Mine also has a seatbelt cutter, flashlight and Swiss Army knife attachment.

Literally nothing except a small can of disinfectant wet wipes.

I can not stand clutter, I like our vehicles to basically resemble rental cars. I want them spotless, nothing in the center console, nothing riding around in the trunk, nothing in the arm rest or cup holders.

Perfectly clean and vacuumed at least once a week.

I will add:

$50 cash in a ziploc stored with the spare tire so I never use it unless I really need it.
Tow straps.
Zip ties.

The trunk might be full of errands (library books to return, dry cleaning to drop off) but I leave nothing in plain sight. Too many years living in cities.

Tire deflator. Compressor. Traction boards. Hi-Lift Jack. Tool kit. Battery starter. Kinetic tow strap. Winch.
