Egg rolls. I’ve never met one I didn’t love unless you count “southwestern egg rolls” and the like (I don’t).
Lemon bars. Salad that is just arugula, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Crusty bread with Irish butter. Campari. Eggs Benedict. Fresh whipped cream. Oh also tater tots. Dipped in the hollandaise from the Benedict. |

Surprised by all the dumplings (don’t recall trying one) and all the cannolis (dislike.)
Like most foods... Some favorites.... - pasta bolognese - Arctic char - key lime pie - ice cream w/ cone or hot fudge - grocery store vanilla/vanilla b-day cake - Good scones, butter, strawberry jam - eggplant Parmesan - Moby dick chicken kabob, pita, hummus (have since moved from the DMV, but miss this the most!!!) - pizza - artichokes - bagels & lox - good grilled cheese w/ bacon - fresh corn on the cob - fresh pineapple - roasted beets ....Too many to list! ..... ..... |
Dumplings are one of the best types of food in the world and there are so many different kinds! Asian ones come to mind (gyoza, shu mai, bao etc) but many other cultures have them. Peirogie are dumplings! So are ravioli, mandu, empanadas, knishes, samosas. And don't forget Pennsylvania Dutch chicken and dumplings. Omg I'm craving dim sum now |
I am a rare girl, but used to be MR. Embrace the rare, you will never go back! |
