So McLean won’t be affiliated with Majestics any longer? Or will the Union USL team only be for the highest level players while the feeder clubs still have their teams?

On this page it says McLean-Majestics are doing Super Y:

There tryouts are all this weekend and this week. It’s still not too late to sign up and tryout but you need to do it now. If you miss this weekend there is still opportunity but contact them and ask to come to the tryouts.
The main coach doesn’t respond to emails so good luck.

BRYC is not doing super Y this year, they notified parents a couple of weeks ago.

They usually do Super Y with Vienna in some sort of hybrid Brave Super Y. Who knows what they're doing this year? Probably some morphed FVU Super Y program. I find it hard to believe that BRYC would completely skip Super Y this year... always money to be made off of kids and parents.

Super Y teams (really called USL Youth Summer now) will always let you tryout. They all carry of ton of kids because of vacations making people miss games

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. It's just that it was a stupid obvious answer to a question no one was asking.

I heard they are entering in summer tournaments for their younger boys' teams instead of Super-Y

Still no announcement on this highly competitive USL Y team huh? Now with McLean leaving Union what competitive team is being fielded by BRYC and Viemma?

Earlier in this thread a BRYC parent said they were notified that from their club management that they were not doing Super Y. With McLean leaving Union now, that only leave VYS to do a Super Y on their own. Don't know if that is highly competitive or not, but it is what it is. If they haven't announced anything yet you can assume that they are probably not doing a summer program given that Spring tryouts are going to be coming out soon and they haven't even said anything about Super Y (at least according to their website).
