Yeah, that's likely only in your head. |
I don’t understand what you mean? You’re tired of people exposing racism and getting upset about racists harassing others? Or are you suggesting this was a collaboration, like a performance art piece, and there was no real racism, just people trying to keep the conversation about racism going? |
| I have no idea what is going on here. Is there a video from start to finish of this altercation? And a transcript? All I hear are two women screaming at each other - forgive me if I don’t take the word of anonymous internet posters about what’s happening. |
I’m tired of people posting random snippets of fights when no one knows what the background story or context is and everyone jumps on the outrage bandwagon. |
NP. Do you not understand how you are being manipulated by social media? There are many videos of black or hispanic people making racist comments, but you never see those videos because they don't sell. If you keep watching this trash, you start to think these crazy incidents are a common occurrence. |
| Holy crap. How do people like this actually exist? |
They've been a common occurrence. Except they used to end up with the black people strung up in a tree or the entire neighborhood burned down. And the history books never talking about it until a new generation wonders why all the minorities are gone. Now it doesn't go that far but that doesn't mean 'social' racism should be acceptable. I get the feeling you're just mad that people in communities that you could possibly live in are being exposed for who and what they are. Messes with your world view of a perfect suburbia. |
You are being brainwashed. What you are experiencing is no different than old timers being manipulated by Fox News. What these people believe and what is reality are two totally different things. They also have a gloom and doom attitude. |
Paying attention to assaults, murders, and modern-day lynchings (of any race or economic class) is not brainwashing. And don't ever compare these attacks to the Fox News 'drink the hydroxychloroquine' and kill yourself mentality. There's a difference between fake news and informed awareness. |
| What the hell is Rawstory.com and why isn't this reported on any real news sites? |
Exactly. I have no problem 'cancelling' racists. That's how it's supposed to work. |
Getting the latest outrage story or video from social media does not equal awareness. Don't feel bad, as there are many clueless people who think they are getting a balanced view of what is happening in society by checking the latest tweet or tuning in to cable news. If you want reality, spend some time researching facts, not just emotional stories. |
Maybe because the video appears to be two crazy women yelling at each other. I honestly can't tell what is going on. |
I’m the PP who asked. I don’t care what you’re arguing about, if it devolves into racism, that’s on the racist person saying and doing racist things. If a black lady cuts you off, kicks your dog, looks at you funny, etc, the appropriate response is not any of the following: saying the n-word, saying you’re the wrong color for this neighborhood, calling the police and reporting she runs a drug ring out of her home. If the disagreement, no matter how it starts, devolves into racist attacks, that person is a racist. They’re just a little more covert than some. |

The CEO made this comment in regards to now former employee.
“It was a very sad situation,” Hill said. “This young lady has been with us for a couple of years, and she’s grown a lot in her life. She’s really tried to work hard to change. She’s a single mother and she’s worked hard to try to provide for her children.” Pretty loaded, "tried to work hard to change." Wonder if her job started off as court-ordered community service? |
