Even ‘professionals’ don’t really do a great job. Look at the uproar from various industries after leaked diversity training vids come out.

Sorry, but I'm not having a "difficult conversation" in the workplace. Whatever you say can and will be used against you.

As it happens, I work in an industry that is naturally pretty diverse. I've learned lots of cool things about my co-workers' culture by asking about their weekends, the way I would with anyone; going to lunch; etc. No thank you to seminars led by UMC college-educated people who are "diverse" only in skin color.
