Women - question about rings

Size over quality. No one notices quality, but they do notice size. Anyone saying quality has a small stone.

OP here. I don’t know. Small hands. Petite frame at 5’1 110lbs.

Do NOT get her a 2c ring. Way too big.

So basic. I have an almost flawless 2ct. I would have preferred an average 3ct.

Depends on the quality of the 2ct. I would be happy with either 1.5 or 2ct. Both are a nice size on my tiny hands. My mom got a huge stone (lost her original ring) and I can't stand it. It looks like a river rock and I can see the black spot sitting next to her. My sister and I both jokingly said we won't fight over that thing when she dies. Who would want that?!

I hadn’t near colourless 3ct VVS1 excellent. Overrated. Too much attention. I felt like the victim of a man’s ego. Which, in hindsight I was. Ha. I never traveled with it. I felt embarrassed by it at times. It was beautiful for high profile media events like the Oscar’s. To which I’ve never been invited.

If it isn’t a colorless flawless 5 carat with excellent symmetry, it isn’t worth the investment.

3 carat is perfect. Not too big. 2 carat meh average.

OP:
1.5 excellent quality or 2.0 very good?

DCUM:
3.0 excellent quality!
