Can someone tell me about the Eastern Magnet?

At least 2 kids joined the magnet during DD’s 7th grade. This was 2 years ago. So it has happened in years past.

Yes, I know. I was just using "hazing" because it was referenced above at the 6th grade level. It was a tough year of online learning, social isolation, etc and they chose not to reduce the burden of the IDRIP on the kids. It is an important project, but there was little grace given to the students.

So...the building is that bad, huh? This might actually be a factor for my child, who will otherwise go to TPMS (non magnet).

Oh, I know that one. But I don't see how it applies here, since surely MCPS isn't providing data on how children were assigned at birth to parents. So, the question would be which way does the population's gender skew?
