Does anyone know if our answers from the fall instructional survey is accessible anywhere? I’m like, 95% sure I selected bus service, but worried I may have been suffering delirium.

It's in parentvue. Select "Student info" and scroll down. If you don't have an account yet, you can sign up for it. https://vue.apsva.us/PXP2_Login_Parent.aspx?regenerateSessionId=True

It’s all theater.

Thanks for the fancy dress tip! Should we wear a costume both days?

Yes, you should dress up as a corona bottle.

We got an email that said it could take as long as 45 minutes the first few weeks. My guess is it will really go faster than that but they want to prepare people.

Hopefully the first week will give them an idea for if they hav to move back arrival time. For example, next Tuesday, it will only be pre-K and 1st grade in the building. On Thursday/Friday, it will only be K and 2nd so, that is probably 60-80 kids at most (and we are at a high hybrid school). Once 3-5 come back the next week, they will know if they need to start the process earlier.

Are you allowed to drop off via car? Or do you need to park and walk?

DOes your school have a decent amount of space for cars to line up? I think that is our main issue. WE are a choice school so lots of drivers.

Kids can walk, bike, ride the bus or car loop. It's Discovery- large car loop with 2 lanes.

My son has been doing Hybrid since Sept. at his private. We do the health check survey by 7:15 am. It generates a health pass which he shows when he enters. I'm not sure if they do a quick head temp check walking in on top of that. THE PARENTS DO NOT WAIT. THEY DROP OFF IN CARPOOL LANE...or drive themselves if older.

I am dropping my MS off. Not waiting. There is absolutely nowhere to wait anywhere near our MS and dropoff pre-Covid was a nightmare. If he fails--he can call me and I'll get him. It's a quick trip by car. But--there is no way he should fail if I take his temp before getting in the car. It's not like it's all the sudden going to spike in 5 min.
