The pbs show about the making of hamilton was great.
My daughter read a bio of Eliza and liked it but I didn’t read it. |
Not really. Opinions are subjective. The PP feels it wasn’t great, and I agree. You are free to disagree, but that doesn’t make you right and us wrong. |
Not sure what Trump has to do with this, but again - it’s all a matter of opinion. I find it ludicrous that some people fall all over themselves, insisting this is somehow a work of art. For me, it was like nails on a chalkboard - awful. People are allowed to have different tastes, you know.

Alexander and Eliza adopted a child so they actually had nine. Her name was Fanny Antil |
His first wife was married and had five children! When her British husband died she married Burr when she was 35 and he was 25! Burr also had two children by his slave, John Pierre Burr and Louisa Charlotte |
But they probably were not actually lovers since it was a crime. |
Np I think in a discussion board the idea is to discuss not to dismiss. |
Or simply to accept that opinions differ and stop challenging anyone who doesn’t agree with you. |
Dp I disagree. If we are rating the musical in it's success both financially and the awards it won both were considerable. So, if you are in the minority you are in fact "wrong". Not saying you have to love it but, maybe you just didn't "get it? Or are one of these people that loves to hate what everyone else loves? |
Yet here you both are, in this thread. So something must have intrigued you. |
Was it a commercial success? Sure. So was “Titanic” and that was a horrible movie. Just because something makes a lot of money and is popular among the masses doesn’t mean those who hated it “didn’t get it.” I mean, come on. |
Yes, the subject title intrigued me. I wanted to see what kind of things people thought others “needed to know” about Hamilton. Hamilton fans are always entertaining. |
You are a weirdo. |
