I know adult twins named James (Jim) and John. Good, strong names.

I know 6 year old twins from another state named Jamie (not James) and Graham.

This might be a first, OP...all your names are great!

Nonetheless, here are some others for your consideration:

Joshua
Thomas
Andrew (Drew)

Andrew (Drew) and Daniel (Danny)
Joshua (Josh) and Noah

These are all nice!

I love the name Graham, and I almost never hear it. James is very, very popular. So, I might replace James with something less traditional but still familiar. Colin, Liam, Theodore, Bennett

I think Henry and Peter are my favorites from your list. But really, all nice!

All of your choices are good, I’d also consider Andrew, maybe Michael? Something more timeless. I don’t think graham fits as well.

Anonymous wrote:I’ve been reading this forum long enough to know I don’t want:

- names that “try too hard”
- are popular now/trendy
- made up or weird
- names that are too cutesy for twins
- names that sound like the babies are from different families.

We have a simple two syllable last name. Their middle names will be my one syllable name (I hyphenate but they won’t).

Here’s what we have so far:

James and Graham
John (not nn Jack) and Daniel
Henry and Peter

Out of your suggestions:

John and Daniel

James and Peter

John and Henry

Other names: Benjamin, William, August ( maybe too out there for you) Oliver

You could pair James with Benjamin, William or Oliver

The only name I don't like is Graham

Any combination except James and John. Other suggestions appreciated!

Matt and Mike
Howie and Max

These are all names of sets of brothers i know or people i've worked with.

Peter and Henry are fabulous names, but they are both becoming quite trendy.

Charles, David, Anthony, John, Daniel, Gabriel, Christian, Elias, Frederick, Philip, Robert, Samuel, Sebastian, Timothy, Alexander, Victor, and Stephen are all nice names.
