APS reopening plan?

No. We chose based on safety considerations and best practices based on the published recommendations of epidemiologists. APS expressed no intention of following those. Particularly the testing side. So strange that you could view it any other way. In your world, is it a sharp dichotomy between parents who want their kids at school regardless of the safety precautions and those who want to stay home regardless of precautions? Most people are weighing the safety of APS practices. In school testing is quite a game changer if that’s the plan now. If you don’t understand that, maybe you’re not up to speed on best practices. This is what is being done in Massachusetts and NYC and almost all DC privates.

I fully understand the arguments on both sides. At this point, though, what’s the point of in person? Soldier on with DL until 2021-22.

Because there are people who feel 100% that it will punish teachers, therefore it is "good." No educational, societal, or communal benefits. They are only in it to feel like teachers will suffer and that is a-ok for them. They now get off on it.

APE is definitely not up to speed on best practices.
