Good playgrounds where kids and adults wear masks

To the OP from Vienna -- We live in Falls Church and we think mask compliance is pretty high at Cherry Hill Park in downtown FCC. It is usually crowded on weekends, but less so on weekdays. There are 3 different play structure, a big field/meadow for running around and kicking a ball, and also a volleyball court that doubles as a sand pit / digging area when no one is playing. Again, it does get crowded at certain times but I find that nearly all kids above age 3 are wearing masks, and nearly all adults are as well.

We also enjoy Roberts Park, which is a small neighborhood park in Falls Church that would be perfect for your kids' age. Because it is small, there are usually only 1-2 other families there at a time. If my kids can socially distance from others (or if no one is there), I don't require them to wear masks at Roberts. But we always have them with us just in case and will put them on if other kids get closer.

We haven't been to Glyndon Park in Vienna in several months, but we went a lot over the summer (more shady than some other spots). It meets your description of having multiple climbing structures/areas/sandbox/swings and my kids enjoy the layout there, and we never found it to be too crowded, but I can't speak to whether people are consistently wearing masks there now.

PG County. Its the only county in MD I am aware of that has an outdoor mask requirement. The only exception is during vigorous exercise- running and maybe road biking are the only things I can think of.

We live in Bowie, if you need park suggestions, let me know.

Ive been following @marylandkiddos on Instagram and she does a good job of stating how many people were/were not wearing masks AND whether it was crowded. Note she goes during weekdays so weekends may be something else.

MoCo does too. We've been to a number of playgrounds and the only one where kids weren't wearing masks was the one at the Wheaton Library.

In general I agree with the suggestion to go at uncrowded times. We are early risers and are sometimes the only family at the playground to start. Elementary school playgrounds are a good suggestion too, probably more off the radar than the ones at county/city parks.
