Because everyone is focusing on president Biden and he’s losing his cases in court and he’s lashing out for attention.

So...was he fired too?

In selecting Miller, Trump skipped over current Deputy Secretary of Defense David L. Norquist and the current service Secretaries.https://www.airforcemag.com/trump-fires-esper-names-christopher-miller-as-acting-secdef/

I think there are multiple aspects to this move. If he moves Christopher Miller to Def. Secy, who will replace him at the Counter Terrorism Center?

This Acting SECDEF is prohibited from serving because he only retired from the military six years ago.

The thought is that Chris Miller is amenable to deploying the military in American cities.

That makes sense. A chilling thought. I totally support peaceful protest but fear that Trump will whip people up and they will take to the streets whereupon he will unleash troops on them. You know, "law and order" and all that.

I look forward to never having another president who fires people by tweet.

Who can Esper tell about why he was fired?

that never ends well for the guy unleashing the troops.

And who will backfill Miller’s position?

Well he's a loyalist.

I heard lastnight from a reliable source his resignation letter had already been circulated.

You're a couple days late, dear.

Well Esper said he was against invoking the Insurrection Act. So I think we can all glean what is to come.
