| How long has your dog had this issue and what have you done to fix it? |

The UPS guy was probably placing them in the garage since she had it open and appeared to be waiting for them. I would have clearly told him please leave by door and closed garage since pandemic, but what ever.
Not sure why Op wasn’t holding leash short and taunt, but clearly she’s not a responsible dog owner of her sweet nipper. I suspect UPS deals with dog bites and irrational owners often, and the protocol is to leave the scene, and get rabies shots, and report. Trying to obtain rabies records or other information often can lead to further confrontation. Rabies shots are not a big deal anymore other than the schedule. I would expect a call from animal control OP |

OP you’re way too chill about this.
When I was younger we visited my Dh’s friends and their very small dog ran up to me in the house when I arrived and bit me through my jeans. It was small but I have a scar 12 years later. I was holding my baby. Eff their dog. But also them - they are tremendous jerks and had the same “oh silly dog!” reaction as you. The UPS man has every right to pursue action. I hope he does. And I hope you now consider your dog a dog that bites and not innocently sweet. It isn’t. Act accordingly before it’s a child that toddles last you and gets bit on the face. Hoping the UPS driver reports this so that if there is a second incident it’s well documented. We know you don’t sound responsively enough to control your dog. |
| OP gives all dog owners a bad name. She is not responsible enough to own a pet. |
What a bully and a weak assed attempt at intimidation. Plenty of people here have lawyers. You'd end up paying lawyers fees for both sides. You don't get to decide on the other person's pain and wouldn't get away with minimizing what your dog did. As the pp said, every dog owner says the same thing and tries to minimize when their dog bites. Clueless fool. |
She had her dog contained and managed. This is not some wild beast roaming without a collar and leash. He may file a complaint but she has an adequate defense here. |
| Your dog bit someone. I hope they file a report and I hope you have to face consequences. Control your dog. |
If her dog was contained or managed, the dog would have been unable to bite the UPS delivery person. |
+1, why did the UPS man take the package into the garage? |
Duh, he saw her and was giving her the packages. If he’d left them on the doorstep she’d likely have huffed about him not delivering them directly to her. No good deed goes unpunished. |

Lots of assholes on this thread who wish this turns into a bigger deal than it has to be.
OP, what happened? Have you heard anything? I doubt you will, despite Miss Gulches on this thread. |
I agree. He should not have come into the garage. My UPS person now leaves packages in front of my closed garage door, which I hate. I have a covered porch. |
The only asshole is OP, who let her dog bite someone and thinks it’s no big deal. So many entitled dog owners out there. |
Put down that dog before another incident. |
NP. You're a complete idiot, sweetie. Of course a UPS delivery person would prefer to leave your packages in your garage, particularly when they see you standing there. You don't ask permission to drop something off in an open garage, that's your stupidity talking. I hope he files a claim. Your dog sucks and so do you. |
