I can’t remember the last time FCPS was fully staffed and I’ve been teaching 28 years. In the past few years we’ve always started with vacancies covered by subs.

Yes. They SHOULD be fully staffed every year at the start of school, but are not. This is nothing new.

Yes. They SHOULD be fully staffed every year at the start of school, but are not. This is nothing new.

The numbers went out to administrators last week. There were something like 190 opening as of the beginning of August and last year there 180 at the same point in the summer.
