The only sit-down restaurant that’s (slightly) better than mediocre in Bethesda is Black’s Bar & Kitchen.
Given the wealth in the area there ought to be a ton of good restaurants, but they never seem to survive. It’s shocking to me that Silver Spring, Rockville, and Wheaton have so many better restaurants than Bethesda. There’s just not much culture in Bethesda, unfortunately. |
| Bethesda caters to the family crowd. It's kind of like retail Disney World. Lot's of choices none of them overwhelmingly great but workable with kids. |
