Both are great. You can't go wrong with either. I would go with your gut.
We are at very, very happy at GDS, but would have applied to Maret had it had a PK class. Had we applied to and gotten into both, I don't know which we would have chosen. (Probably GDS, but that is because it was such a good fit for us philosophically.) |
| I agree about the pails and buckets. Also, to the PP who spoke of AP grades achieved by DD, how did she get 6s? Please to tell the secret! |
| I have only been a high school parent at Maret, but have 2 high schoolers there. I can't say enough about the school. My children are very different kind of learners and have both been completely supported and have been encouraged to excell in their very different ways. At Maret you can participate in so many activities and they have a good sense of balance. The teachers are HUGELY accessible and help my children in many aspects of their lives. They just love kids, to sum it up. Their college counselling group is very whole child/happy child oriented - quite refreshing! We could not have been happier and our children have thrived and are better people for the experience. What more can you ask? |
