Sending a 2.5 year old to preschool this fall?

they are called 'schools" but 2 yr olds just play there, that's all. They occasionally do activities, same as in daycares but mostly it's just free play, because of their age. They are too young and just play alongside each other, which is what they enjoy mostly at this age. Just don't call it a school. It's fun for most kids but there are also lots of conflicts over toys (they don't understand sharing at this age), and if there is an agressive child or 2 in a group, the teacher's attention will be mostly on them and not your child. Again, this is all OK/normal but it has much less structure than 3-4 yr old preschool, and iMHO kids are better off with nannies or one other child of their age until they are 3-4. Plus, at 2 they are not potty trained and a lot of time is devoted to diaper changes.
