I wasn't comparing NWSL to MLS though. I commented that the level of play of yesterday's game was about the same as a decent, local U14 boys teams. That is all. And I personally don't think that a league with that level of play will last very long. I hope all the daughters out there strive to be better and improve the level of play.

I remember some people thought it was actually a BAD result for Dallas FC.

It was a fun charity type game where the USWNT only played for fun without anything to prove and didn’t want any injuries. On the other hand, these 15 year old boys were raging with hormones and wanted to prove their manliness to these women.

So if the USWNT took it seriously they would have won?

We will never know. And it was a stupid idea to put 15 year old boys to play against women in the first place.

Well if you want to improve, you play against superior teams, which they did. Not sure why that is stupid? How do you prepare? By playing against weaker teams?

The entire USWNT marketing department failed and must have gotten fired. No one cared to watch the game. Hence, that’s why they do friendly tournaments like She Believes Cup, etc. against other competitive international women’s teams.

This has been happening for a long time and still happens. Good boys teams will always beat the uswnt. That’s just the way it is. What does the marketing department have to do with any of this?

So are they going to change the way the WNT gets paid? The paid structure is one of the reasons the league has survived for so long.
