OP start with Friendly Minds or find someone to post for you to a N Arlington or McLean FB group. The NW DC super rich probably already have people through their agencies. You want a family like mine who doesn’t normally have a nanny or tutors, but can afford to pay someone for the school year. We paid $25/hr in the spring to a teacher we already knew. In the fall we plan to hire someone with other families. I’ve heard my neighbors have been interviewing people asking $35-50/hr for 3 kids.
Not sure if anyone will pay $60-100/hr. That’s more for specialized tutoring 1-3hrs a day. For 40-45 hrs a week, a lot of it is glorified babysitting for elementary kids when Arlington has them scheduled 4+ hrs a day.
