Baby in NICU - unexplained heart rate decelerations

I dont know who the angry poster is who is so up in arms about any suggestion that OP switch hospitals, but they are dead wrong. If OP is unhappy and doesn't think her baby is getting good care, she absolutely should speak up and consider going elsewhere. We had atrocious care at Sibley, especially by one neonatologist in particular, and we do wish we'd left and gone to Children's. That doctor accused me of lying and starving my baby. She berated me, when none of it was true. A nurse later apologized, stating that the doctor was 100% wrong, but I was too afraid as a first time mom to speak up for myself.

OP, I'm glad your baby is being discharged. Dont be afraid to be an advocate if you dont think you're getting good care.

Omg this is PP with another terrible Sibley NICU experience. Was the neonatologist Russian? What a #$%^&* bitch!

If you guys are all having such bad experiences with one particulate physician, have you considered complaining to the hospital? They can’t fix a problem if they don’t know about it.
