It is very interesting to see how the kid's charisma affect total strangers. I've seen the room dynamic change when the kid walks in. There could be 100 strangers sitting around quietly chatting and this kid walks in and wowza the whole room begins to buzz within a few minutes. This kid has charisma. It definitely is innate, not a nurture behavior, because believe me none of the rest of us have it.

How old is this kid? Does the kid work the room per say? Or people gravitate to the kid?

It is the funniest thing. It is almost like the kid has a magnet inside. People just gravitate towards the kid, even when the kid is just standing there doing/saying nothing at all. The kid isn't boisterous or loud at all and never engages in look-at-me behavior. The kid is attractive but very laid back about it and doesn't really seem to do anything to enhance it to go from cute to knock-out. The kid is in college now and the charisma is still working its magic.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. My first husband, so no blood relation, was very similar. In some ways it was an asset but it also caused a lot of jealousy from others. In life there is a good side and a bad side to everything.
