Annoying neighbor kids making me crazy

Then you must get a pool cover AND a fence - you are an idiot to have a pool where young children have access without permission. (I have a pool and we have a safety cover with a lock and a fence -- you have NO excuse!!!)

+1000 You need someone to tell you this OP???? Kids' lives are at stake. It doesn't matter if they're a PITA and not your responsibility. You are risking their lives. Grossly irresponsible of you to not already have some safety precautions in place. JFC OP. How about an old refrigerator with an attached door? Have one of those laying around, too?

Every time I think of an old refrigerator laying around, my heart breaks for the children who went inside them out of curiosity or playing hide-and-go seek.
Then once inside - they find out they are stuck inside w/no way to open the door from inside.

Whoever leaves an old refrigerator outside should be penalized.
Just as anyone who does not properly secure their swimming πŸŠπŸ»β€β™€οΈ pool.

Every. Single. Time.

Agree with this. It’s like walking a kid back to bed in the middle of the night.

I think OP is talking about a kiddie pool. I would walk them back home once or twice, ring the bell, and tell the parents sweetly that you found them unsupervised in your yard. Then the next time I would mention the rules available on the CPS website for having small children unsupervised out of the family yard. I would tell the kids each time they appeared that they are not invited right now and send them home. On the other hand, I would invite them for a distinct amount of time now and then, and make it clear that this is the designated time.

Get cameras for your property that trigger when people come over. Warn parents in writing that if their kids keep coming over uninvited that you now have security cameras up and this is a repeated, final warning that you are NOT liable for their trespassing. Call CPS with the evidence of parents leaving their kids completely unsupervised on multiple occasions despite warnings.
