My son tested at 3.5 for Pre K admissions and then at 4.6 for K admissions. He did significally better the second time. I honestly think because I had an idea of what was on the test and we would do things like match the shapes and other things that I knew would be tested. How did I know? Well, I didn't know excatly what is on the test but when we got our report the first time it described the test. We went the first time without even having a description of the test. I never thought to google it. Needless to say I don't think the test is all that accurate if one could score in the 70th percentile and then a year later over 90th percentile? Maybe it was the tester? Who knows. But I didn't even like how the first tester wrote the report. He was not positive. The second time the report was so positive. I would not worry about 80th percentile at all. I hear alot of people on here say that their kids were admitted with 80th percentile. As long as there is no real gaps in subset scores 80th percentile is not bad. Are you the person who wanted someone to email them? I can share my experience with you if you'd like?
