Same. Also great names for nicknames. We’ve got a Genevieve who goes by Eve.

Np I know a Genevieve who goes by Jenny. We had a Madeleine so our second couldn't be named after the dog! lol

I think Vivienne is fine. Your friend not so much!

Genevieve and Vivienne are too similar.

Er yeah, I'd think that was really weird. Genevieve and Vivienne are basically the same name.

Vivienne, Genevieve, and Sophie are all beautiful names. Congratulations on your baby girl

I went to grade school with a Genevieve and fell in love with that name. I do agree that Vivienne and Genevieve are too similar. Maybe Madeleine, Natalie, Josephine. Not French, but Priscilla comes to mind to fit your names. Congrats.

They’re lovely names. And for most of your kids’ lives, they will present to the world as individuals, not as a set of three. Don’t give that ridiculous b*tchy comment one more thought.

What’s Genevieve’s nickname? I can see the previous poster’s point about it being too close to Vivienne. But that is the only thing I think you need to worry about.

Lol, that is a great point - we call her Viv. Could get confusing but I really do just love the name.

Evelyn
nicknames - Eve, Evie, Lynn, Livi
It's still very close, but if you call Genevieve Viv, I don't see how you can name the next child Vivienne.

All these names are hard core wanna be. OP mom is probably really into Kate spade and Pinterest. Or, maybe she is an instagram influencer? These names are the Kimberly and Stephanie of this generation. Stop trying so hard, it’s embarrassing for you.

Veronica instead

You can’t babe your kids Viv and Vivienne. That’s insane.

(I like both names Individually so it has nothing to do with that. This would be the equivalent of having a John and Johnathan. It’s ridiculous.)
