And wash away the “credit” for those things that was theoretically given. |
| I wouldn't jump to assume the worst of them. You have no idea what their overhead and payroll eat up each month and they are over 2 months with no income. They are refunding camps. |
Only until money runs out?? That is weird and it sounds like a no to refunds |
| I can't imagine how hard a decision that had to have been. Unfortunately, I think this is just the first wave of closures. |
Wow - hadn't heard about those. |
| I don’t think that they were bankrupt or had to do it now but they were sheltering from more losses knowing that fall is not looking too great either. |

| That story is pretty heartbreaking. |
| Awful. Be kind, keep credits not refunds, keep small businesses alive. |
| Do you the Ballet Nova is going to make it through this year? |
I sure hope so. That’s our ballet school, and my kid was already so sad about missing lessons. She’ll be devastated if she can never go back. We’re fine with not having a refund for this past semester if it means they can make it through. We’d also pay tuition for the fall if they announce online classes, similar to what in-person would have been. We’ll buy a barre for home and everything. |
It will be very difficult, they are all struggling with fixed expenses and little income. |
+1 I have two DC there also. Teachers and the director have said things on Zoom lately that give me hope they're going to pull through. We're going to do what we can to help them in the meantime. |
I hope so too! And I hope they are able to absorb new students because I think Ballet Nova would most closely replicate our experience at Adagio. |
| Farewell adagio. Also hoping BalletNova is in better position to stay open. |
