For those of you who are unhappy, what specifically is the problem with SR Middle School?
One poster referenced a change in the head of middle school, but no real reasons for complaint. I have also heard math complaints, but I am still unsure about concerns. Would any previous posters be willing to be more specific about what makes them unhappy? Considering Middle School year after next and would appreciate clear feedback. Thanks. |
| I have subbed in the upper school, and I have been impressed by the students, faculty, and administrators alike. The faculty are professional, they are excellent communicators, and they have high expectations of their students. The students are disciplined, they are self-starters, and the seniors seem to be quite ready to take on university. The administration is supportive and respectful. |
| We love this school, our girls have been there for 5 years with one in middle and one in lower school right now. We've always felt at home there and their transition to an online curriculum over the past couple of months has been impressive. |

| Great list, thank you. |
| Love that they list the sport. So organized and transparent. |
| The college counselors are incredible. This list proves it. |
|
if you go there you have to say you love it, if you don't go there and go to another school they will look down on you.
average academics average sports, swim team is top notch the parents were the worst lots of frat dads and the moms well like all schools they are the moms. |
| In my experience the obnoxiousness of the parents is in inverse proportion to the amount of money they have. However it is the ones with money that are feted by those who run the school because they're caught up in a never ending chase for cash. |
| That list could be any public school in any state minus the 100k the parents paid out. |
will you take it so seriously if your daughter tells you she is a lesbian? or wants to become a priest but the church doesn't support her? |
Taking it seriously does not seem to equate to following the Magisterium. Never understood that myself. Just become an Episcopalian. |
Perhaps partially true, but those students you mention would not be as prepared for success nor such a promising future. Fact. |
Define success. |
Public schools prepare kids for success. |
