Another idea is a school district or charter network. Many have a lawyer to help with special education issues, real estate transactions, and hiring issues. A rural school district might need one

There are a couple of cloud-based law firms out there - look at Rimon, FisherBroyles, Culhane Meadows.. I can't think of other names but there are more. All of them would require a book of business but you have complete flexibility in your hours, location, etc and there is very good level of support and working together with other attorneys.

The Board of Veterans Appeals is always hiring and telework is available. However, the job is pretty terrible.

This. My neighbor reviews applications. 100% remote even pre Covid. But she hates it and I don’t think the pay is great.
