I have an only that will be four next month. He spends the day finding the hugest things he can safely jump off of and needing a playmate. He does bake and cook with us and lasts about 15 mins before he is back to running, kicking, jumping, scoring goals and wanting someone to join him. We take him out for adventures, biking, scootering and walks trying to I wear him out enough to sleep well. I’d love a sibling about now.

SIBLINGS FIGHT!!! Omg I have 3 and they are constantly fighting.

Not wake up at 530 AM to start working.
Deep clean house
Organize closets and purge items for donations
Read
Watch Netflix
Garden more
Cook nice meals
Exercise more
Be in a better mood since I'm constantly snapping at fighting kids.

Ha! Keep telling yourself that. My friend and I (both childfree) were FaceTiming just yesterday, talking about how relieved we were not to have kids during this time.

Don't worry about us, PP. We complain, but the vast majority of us wouldn't trade with you even if life is challenging right now.

NP well I am not in that vast majority! Of course I love my kids, but damn this quarantine would be so much more relaxing without them around Probably would get boring and lonely after a few weeks though.

I’m grateful for my kid right now. She keeps me busy enough that I’m not ruminating and we’re forced to maintain a routine and sense of normalcy.

That said, exercise, work on my Spanish, huge jigsaw puzzles, and taking the dog on long hikes. Maybe fostering kittens...

Oh, I’m not worried about you. Just so happy I’m not you.

Sure you are. That's why you're on a parenting website, in the Parenting Discussion Forum. You keep telling yourself whatever you have to, ok?

Some people found this topic through recent topics rather than going directly to parent section. Jealous much!

Yep! I only navigate this site through most recent topics.

NP, but I don't think anyone here is jealous of people who don't have kids. You may have found this in the recent topics but the title should have clued you in that this wasn't a thread for you.
