100% of the people I know that went to Clemson have success in their professional lives.

They also have one of the best rated career centers in the country! Look it up!

Tremendous football program, experts and fans say by far the best in the nation! Plus, many of the students can both read and write, a rarity among major college football programs!

USC is spread out all over Columbia. (Some say that as if it's a positive.) I went to Clemson so a bit biased, but to be totally honest, neither means much outside of the Southeast. Clemson does have good engineering and architecture programs; USC is not really known for anything except nice kids, average intelligence kids who like to party.

That is not accurate. I went there. You may need to take a shuttle from certain parts to get to the football and baseball stadiums, or from one far end of campus to the other, but this is no different than many schools. The core campus buildings where classes are held are all walking distance to each other as well as to the dining hall or downtown area where restaurants are. Columbia is a larger city and campus is NOT all over the city.

Two of my nieces are at Clemson. They seem happy with it. I've not been particularly impressed, but I'm not the one who has to spend 4 years there. One is BIG into Greek life.

I went to grad school at Clemson. Full ride plus stipend. I got a great education.
Loved being by the lakes. Spent most weekends on a boat. Loved the mild weather.
Football weekends were amazing.

Location of school was a bit too far from everything else. I didn't like Greenville that much. Anderson was not really all that convenient either.

Very good school. Solid alumni support and connections.

Great football facilities. The football residences, food, and training are as good as any NFL program.

Is the campus of USC similar to how UVA is kind of spread throughout Charlottesville?

Spend a weekend down there, not just a day. Go to the grocery store, drive to Anderson for dinner, if you think you fit in you will be fine.
