Whether it will be a hardship for working parents is really irrelevant. If it’s necessary for public health then it has to happen. It’s a crisis. I don’t think districts should factor in the inconvenience to parents at all, and I am a working parent. |

For people who are worried about the not so privileged, consider how those families will be impacted by severe illness which is more likely if the schools stay open. If they can't handle healthy kids at home, how are they going to manage severe illness? or death? |
Without an endgame plan, why close them? What is the plan to reopen? They close them, they’re out the rest of the school year.
